The Methodology Programme works with key stakeholders including NHS research programmes, academics, research bodies, and service user organisations to develop and improve research methods, and so provide the best possible evidence base for policy development.
 

The Methodology Programme commissions research, based on the advice of the Methodology Advisory Group, which meets every 6 - 9 months to prioritise research topics for the Methodology Programme to commission research into.
